Why phenolic insulation?
Phenolic insulation is one of the best standard insulation products on the market, with many benefits, including enhanced performance (fire and thermal), unrivalled sustainability advantages, full certifications and availability of relevant and tested data, including EPD and DOP.
Furthermore, due to the enhanced thermal properties, the compliant thickness (refer Approved Document L Table 4.6 and BS5422) can be reduced, which is well illustrated in the diagram below:
